What is going on here??

Is this my 1 year old, teaching my almost 3 year old new tricks?? I'm amazed....

Happy Birthday Sage

Thursday was Sage's birthday! She is already one year old!! In the morning Sage fell down from standing up against the couch (which she has done hundreds of times) and dislocated her elbow!! This is the second time she has done this and it is never fun! I took her to the doctor in the afternoon and the doctor said the way she was holding her arm made her think her arm or collar bone might be broken. She sent us over to get x-rays right away. Nothing showed up broken. By the time we found that out it was too late to go back in to get it put back in place. The next morning we went back in and got her squared away!! Poor thing, she was not a happy camper. She is now, so that is all that matters!

Sage got lots of fun things for her birthday. She got some cute clothes, toys and a baby. She was actually really attentive to opening presents, amazing!

Westin & the Dentist

Westin had his first dentist appointment today! It turned out so good. We went to a pediatric dentist so the whole place was very kid friendly! Westin sat in the big dentist chair, I could tell he was a little hesitant to sit there but once the dentist started Finding Nemo, it was no big deal. For their first visit I guess it's pretty standard for them just to brush their teeth and put fluoride on them. When the dentist brought out the "vacuum", Westin was done. He didn't care for that (that's OK buddy, neither do I). What a brave little boy, his teeth looked great!! As he was leaving he was showered with toys and stickers. He already wants to go back!

Family Night at the Park

Tonight we got together with all of Ben's extended family at the park for a potluck dinner. Everyone had a lot of fun. Ben's grandpa is 90 years old and he is still alive and kicking. He used to keep track of all his posterity but he lost track at 100 and now he has over 100 members in his family that most of all are strong in the church. It is always such an amazing site to see. He lives with Ben's parents so we get to go over there and see him often. We love hearing his same stories over and over again!

Sage also played on the play ground equipment for the first time, she loved it! It was so hot outside but kids don't really care about the heat. Here are some pictures of them hot and sweaty!!

Since I haven't posted for a week...

This will have to be blog worthy...

I have been looking for months (ask my sister-in-law Sarah) for a little kids table. Something my kids can eat at, play at, color at and climb on. I've looked at yard sales, craigslist and anywhere else I can just so that I didn't have to pay $65 for one. My obsession with it was just about to drive Ben crazy, until yesterday the dream came to an end. I found one! I was at Target, not able to actually look at anything because all I can do is look for those silly red stickers on everything, when I stumbled upon a BIG box with a red sticker on it! Originally $60, for $30. Favorite thing #1.... LOVE IT!
