Life is crazy with three kids! It's amazing how hardly anything gets done, but we never leave the house. It never used to be like that.
Halloween was great. Sage has started being very sensitive. She gets scared very easily. Funny but sad at the same time. We started off at Grandma and Grandpa Shumway's house and then made it over to Grandma and Grandpa Howe's house. We were all done at the end of the night.

I had the best birthday last week! Ben did a great job! He had the kids get me gifts, made me breakfast, took the day off work, took me shopping, took me to lunch and gave me a pedicure (I hope he doesn't mind me spilling the beans on that one). 27 wasn't so bad after all!
The baby is growing like crazy. He is weighing in at about 9 lbs! He is sleeping and eating great! I just love this little guy. I obviously love all my beautiful children but I feel a little different about this baby. I don't feel any feelings of frustration with him, which I can't say about my other 2. I'm sure it's his temperament but I don't mind doing any thing for him! Such a sweet boy.

I think we HAVE to have a strong connection to the smallest ones so that we will be willing to wake up and feed them all through the night, clean up their spitup, change their ever-so-frequent diapers, and jump at their every cry. I think it is a complete blessing. Then once they get older and more self sufficient, we get more of a desire to ignore them, at least over the small stuff.
oh, and dont worry about getting off the phone. I would have done the same thing. Scarlett would probably do the same thing to a baby if i had one right now too. She is so in love with having my full undivided attention. love you. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.
Okay SpongeBob actually kind of scared me. He is hilarious, good job catching that one Ben.
Glad you had a great birthday. Rhett is so adorable. Nice work getting the oldest to smile on cue with the baby! Never a dull moment!:)

I do get updated verbally by meg, but I haven't even been by to see little R, he is adorable and growing so quick!
Um you do know the comments about what a perfect baby he is compared to the first 2 monsters are going to come back to bite you in the booty in about 12 years right???

Kudos to Ben! (A man after my own heart . . . with the pedicure thing. That was meant to be a compliment! Maybe you shouldn't tell him that). Anyhow, what is it with that 3rd baby? Seriously Kimmy. I couldn't agree with you more. I felt the EXACT same way. And it only gets better!
P.S. I need to get some more bricks of that one scent. You know . . . that one. The orange, harvest something-or-rather?!? Do you have any?
